Haughville Community Food Assessment
In 2011, the Butler University Center for Urban Ecology and the Food Coalition of Central Indiana partnered to conduct a community food security assessment to form the base of future strategies to address food deserts in Marion County, Indiana.
The Spring 2011 Environmental Practicum Course at Butler University presented, “Food Assessment: Examining the Role of Food in Haughville, Indianapolis” to various stakeholders and residents of the neighborhood west of downtown Indianapolis.
